Philosophy
Learning should be fun and taught at each child's individual level. We do lots of hands on activities where
the children can work at their own pace.
Curriculum
We use NAMC's (North American Montessori Center) curriculum with a little Abeka added in.
Discipline
Peace tables are used when children have conflicts. There they learn how to communicate and fix their
own problems instead of relying on adults. Redirection has worked great for us and timeouts are used
sparingly.
Lunch/Snacks
A home cooked lunch and healthy snacks are provided. Most meals and snacks are gluten free/dairy free
so we can definitely accommodate those dietary restrictions.
Spanish Class
A wonderful Spanish Teacher comes twice per week to teach Spanish to the kids. This is included in tuition.
Class Size
We only take 3 children at a time, plus my own 2, so the class size is 5. This small class size allows for
lots of one-on-one attention so your child can work through any struggles they have and accelerate quickly through their strong points.
